Children’s Dentistry
We welcome children of all ages to our clinic. We realise that good oral health habits and becoming comfortable with dental visits area established at a young age. By creating fun, happy memories with the dentist at an early age, children gain a positive attitude about dentistry that will serve them for a lifetime.
Your Child’s First Dental Visit
We typically start welcoming children around the age of three. This is when they begin to understand how to cooperate during a dental appointment. Their first dental appointment will be comfortable and focused on helping your little one become familiar with our dental clinic and team.
We will take your child for a ride in the chair and have a look inside their mouths while they sit on mom or dad’s lap.
Preventive Dentistry
Our preventive dentistry program is customised for kids, just like adults. As your child grows, we will integrate preventive dentistry treatments such as:
Check-ups
Cleans
Fluoride application
Sealants
Hygiene instruction
Behaviour modification (soother use, thumb-sucking, bottle use)
Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a Medicare-funded program providing dental care for eligible children aged between the age of 2 and 17 for a range of services, including examinations, cleaning, x-rays, fillings, fissure sealants, extractions, and root canal therapy.

A comfortable dental experience
When children visit us we take care to be extra gentle and take the time to explain what we are going to do and why. We also utilise techniques that make the visit as short and comfortable as possible. We want your children to stay with us as their family dentists for life, so we take the time to teach them easy to follow good oral care practices from an early age.
